PTSA Back-to-School Picnic for students and Parents from 1200 noon until 1400;
New 6th Grade Students and their Parents from 1300-1400;
New 7th and 8th Grade Students and their Parents from 1400-1500.

Our Mission

Schweinfurt Middle School will engage all students

As part of our Continuous School Progress we are focusing on two Academic Goals:

Goal #1: 

All students will improve in Reading Comprehension across the curriculum.

Essence:  Students will construct meaning from printed text.

Intervention:  Explicit instruction of key vocabulary in content areas.

Goal #2: 

All students will improve in math problem solving skills across the curriculum.

Essence:  Students will apply a problem solving method to achieve the best solution.

Intervention:  Implement a school-wide problem solving method defined as 

E.P.S.E. - Explore, Plan, Solve, Examine
