Studying Careers at Schweinfurt Middle School

Schweinfurt Middle School 8th Grade students participated in authentic learning opportunities focused on the following 21st Century Skills: Entrepreneurship, Teaming, Leadership, Work Ethic, Responsibility, and Health and Wellness.  Students were teamed by advisory groups and projects were conducted during advisory and tutorial time.  

Students formed their own business and provided products and services to customers.  They worked in five division teams - research, marketing, production, finance, and transportation/delivery.  For the year they selected four products and rotated working in each division.  For their final project our 8th graders used email to answer questions from students in stateside schools.
