Every year students at SMS are given a handout from the information center regarding these sites. You can find username and password information on this handout--logon is not possible without this information.

Thomson Gale -- Student Resource Center Junior, Jr. Reference Collection, InfoTrac Jr.

The Thomason Gale collection consists of full-text articles from over 750 magazines and newspapers, hours of audio and video clips, 7,400 photos, and at least 2800 maps and charts, and hundreds of poems and plays.

Search results display reading levels, number of words in each article and Lexile levels. Results of searches are organized by type/content (reference, newspapers, magazines, journals, primary sources, multimedia, etc.)

PROQUEST

ProQuest consists of four individual databases that students must login into separately. These databases are CultureGrams, eLibrary, SIRS Discoverer, and ProQuest Professional Education.

At home enter the URL for each of the four databases and the login/password that was issued at school.
