I. Philosophy
All students can behave appropriately at school. All students have a responsibility to behave in a manner that neither prevents a teacher from teaching or other students from learning, nor which violates the best interest of any individual in the school community. The following school discipline plan has been established to govern behavior at school:

1. Ensure student writes in planner (under the last column) detention to be served on the date to serve.
2. Ensure Student Behavior Modification (SBM) form is complete and forwarded to appropriate Grade Level Chair (GLC).
· Be sure assign detentions for GOOD reasons and be specific on the form
· 6th and 7th graders get two tardy warnings per quarter
· 8th graders get one tardy warning per quarter
3. Ensure student knows detention is same as going to class.
