Schweinfurt American Middle School is fully accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA). 

Beginning in School Year 2007-2008 Schweinfurt Middle School will prepare for and host a Quality Assurance Review Team from AdvancED. 

AdvancED is the unified organization of the

North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI),

Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI), and the

National Study of School Evaluation (NSSE).

Advanced ED goal is to provide an accreditation process for schools, research, and continuous school improvement.   AdvancED will provide Schweinfurt MS with online tools designed to manage the accreditation process.

The Accreditation process engages the entire school community in a continuous process of self-evaluation, reflection, and improvement.  It invites external scrutiny and welcomes the constructive feedback of peers.  It is based in data and documentation of results. Accreditation is about making the quest for excellence a habit; it's about being the best a school can be on behalf of the students it serves.

Schweinfurt Middle School will receive a visit by a Quality Assurance Review (QAR) Team, facilitated by the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) and Advanced ED, on Thursday and Friday, February 7-8, 2008.  The purpose of the visit will be to validate the school’s compliance with Advanced ED standards.
